Livebridge foundation built Borehole and handed it over to people of Kuchidna


Kuchidna village is located in Karu Local Government Area of Nassarawa state, about 1hour, 30munites drive from Abuja Central District, FCT, Abuja. It is a small community of about 3,500 people whose major activities are related to agriculture.

The Kuchidna community was discovered by a member of the team whose role is related to mapping. A group of designated team of volunteers took a first visit the site in order to ascertain and identify the current needs of the community. The following problems immediately surfaced; lack of health care facility, electricity, lack of good roads and poor school facility. From the discussion with the village Chief, is was understood the community is desperately in need of healthcare assistance, which prompted the team in discovering that they had no proper source of clean water. The team retracted and decided to re-strategize for effective result.  Under the care of the Chief, a borehole was drilled by the team member to the community in the center of the village for easy access for the people. The medical outreach then took place on the 30th September, 2017.
